When Inter-American Division (IAD) associate treasurer, Juan José Morán approached the lectern to give the first devotional charge at the Central Jamaica Conference’s (CJC) 7th quadrennial session on July 6, He did not go alone. The Honduran native and Spanish-speaker was accompanied by Olivia Valentine, a doctor assigned to the May Pen Hospital, who would translate for him as his English was limited.

Largest Delegation in 65 Years to Attend CJC 7th Quadrennial Session in July
The Central Jamaica Conference (CJC) of Seventh-day Adventists is set to host its 7th Quadrennial Session from July 6–7, 2026, under the theme "I Will Go: Living the Mission," at Camp Verley in Spring Gardens, St. Catherine. The conference's more than 100,000 members will be represented by 518 delegates, making it the largest delegation in the history of the Central Jamaica Conference. The milestone reflects the sustained growth of the conference through evangelism, discipleship, and member retention.
